On a summer day I was at the beach. There was sand and I played on the sand and I made a sand castle. I saw four cocunuts on a tree. When I was playing in the sand I wanted to play in the ocean with buckets. I saw a beach house and I went in it. I went to see a plant and the colour was green. A mountain was at the end of the ocean. The ocean was light blue and dark blue. My feeling was happy. I had fun at the beach. I saw some big waves and I was scared.
Hi Josie, how fantastic to see you writing a recount on your blog! Is this a fictional recount or a real recount? You have included some personal voice, when you have stated how you were feeling, well done. Can you expand on your statement 'I was scared' - maybe tell the reader why you felt scared.
ReplyDeleteI also like the way you have added a picture of you 'at the beach', it's a clever way to support your writing when we are finding it difficult to actually go to the beach at the moment. I recognise that background - I believe it is one of Ms. Sands' masterpieces!
Thank you for your comments on other people's blogs so far, it is great to see that you are reaching out to connect to people during this time at home. Take care - remember the four aspects of our treaty while you at home: Be kind, be respectful, be responsible and be a learner. I'm sure you are already practising these skills.
