My Marble Run

Kia Ora bloggers, today I am going to write about my marble run.

My task was to create a marble run using different things in your house.I had an idea. My mum and dad helped me grab some things to create my marble run. I used 2 wrapping paper rolls, plastic bottle, sellotape, noodle, milk bottle, bird door stops, washing line, washing liquid bottle, egg holder and string.

It was hard for me making the marble run because I had to try and stick things together. My mum and dad helped me. It took me multiple times trying to roll the marble into the egg holder. I was joyful when the marble rolled in the egg holder.

Here is my video below

  1. Well done Josie, I can see that you have worked very hard getting your marble run to work. I like the way you have used lots of every day items that you found at home to make it. A true feat of engineering. Great to see your favourite soft toys decorating the run too.
Your explanation and the video you have posted worked well together, showing us viewers exactly what you did.
Keep up the interesting posts for our lockdown entertainment.
    Stay safe in your bubble,

  3. Ka pai Josie. I loved your marble run with your very supportive soft toys lending a helping hand. Teamwork! You constructed it in such an interesting way that we could catch a glimpse of the marble as it travelled. I think the marble spun around in the eggcup with excitement! Tino pai! Thanks to your Mum and Dad too.
Mrs Mackenzie is right, your clever posts are great entertainment for us in lockdown. Keep them coming!

  4. Kia ora Josie. Cool marble run. I like the way the marble spins round at the end. Great idea to add a slow motion version too. Sounds like collaboration and persistence were important. Do you think that's also true of other tasks you've done in lockdown?

I enjoyed watching your video. You have used lots of different resources to build your marble run. How long did it take for you to construct your masterpiece?
It's really good to see you participating in all the class activities. Keep up the brilliant work :)

  6. Wow Josie. This is the most incredible Marble run I have ever seen. I like it because you have used so many different objects to create it. When I made a marble run, I just used toilet rolls. You have made me want to try and make another one. Have you thought of making a marble run where you can make the marble change direction? Ka pai Josie. Miss Lane
